Ayelet Kboudi » Biography

Biography

Mrs. Kboudi moved to San Antonio upon completion of her service as a Radio Communication instructor as a Sergeant in the IDF.  She taught Hebrew school at Agudas Achim and Rodfei Sholom Synagogues for over 6 years.  Mrs. Kboudi is trained in teaching Hebrew and Jewish Studies from the Tal Am Leading Institute of Montreal, Canada. Her passion of teaching Hebrew is enhanced by her musical talents in playing accordion in both the classroom and school events.  This is Mrs. Kboudi’s 7th year at the EKHLA preceded by 25 years at the Eleanor Kolitz Academy.  Mrs. Kboudi was the Recipient of 2012 Grinspoon Steinhardt Award for Excellence in Education.

Mrs. Kboudi is married with 2 children who are both attending college.  She loves to cook and travel.  Mrs. Kboudi’s teaching style is based on the quote: “Tell me and I forget.  Teach me and I remember.  Involve me and I learn.”  Also, “What we learn with pleasure, we never forget”.
