Galina Wexler – President
Galina is currently the Sr. Finance Director at ECS Learning Systems, an educational company committed to helping students reach their optimal academic success. She moved to San Antonio 4 years ago from New York. In New York, she worked at WPP Health as a Sr. Financial Analyst. And prior to this role, earned her CPA while working as an auditor/tax accountant with Berdon LLP, a regional audit and tax firm in New York. Hillary Moussali – Secretary
I’m proud to serve as a general member of the school board and to support the students, families, and educators in our community. With over 30 years of experience in banking and finance—including many years as a mortgage loan officer—I bring a strong foundation in fiscal responsibility, strategic planning, and community engagement to my role on the board.
As a parent, I’m deeply invested in the success and well-being of our students, and I have a lifelong passion for education. I believe in fostering an environment where all children feel supported, challenged, and inspired to reach their full potential.
Outside of my professional and volunteer work, I enjoy practicing yoga, and I’m an animal lover with both a dog and a cat at home. I'm grateful for the opportunity to serve and collaborate with our school community. Email: [email protected]
Brian Feld – Board Member at Large
Mr. Feld is a partner in the law firm of Rosenthal Pauerstein Sandoloski Agather LLP. Mr. Feld represents entrepreneurs in connection with organizing and financing new enterprises and serves as outside general counsel to a number of clients managing a range of legal issues for early-stage companies, established mid-sized companies, and several real estate ventures. He has served as a volunteer and in leadership roles in a number of nonprofit organizations both in San Antonio and statewide. Mr. Feld graduated with honors from The University of Texas School of Law, and with high honors from The University of Texas at Austin where he served as the elected Student Body Vice President. Mike Dinesman - Board Member at Large
Mike Dinesman is a retired Army Officer with almost 4 decades of service in uniform and as a contractor. He served in Special Operations units the vast majority of his service and has deployed experience in 26 countries. He is now a contractor supporting technical efforts for The Undersecretary of Defense for Research and Engineering. Email: [email protected]
David Newman - Board Member at Large
Mr. Newman has spent 30+ years in the consumer packaged goods industry holding such key roles as the Global Head of Customer Insights & Sales Training at PepsiCo and the Chief Insights and Strategy Officer at Crossmark. His experience includes sales roles at General Mills as well as consultation work with private equity and startups. Mr. Newman graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a BA in Spanish/International Business and an MBA with a focus in Marketing. He and his wife are proud parents of 4 children. Yael Salmon – Board Member at Large
Yael earned her Master of Science degree from The City College of New York and her Ph.D. from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, where her research focused on neurodegeneration and aging. Currently, she teaches biology at the higher education level, where she is dedicated to inspiring students towards a deeper understanding of the life sciences. As a passionate advocate for the internationalization of academic courses, she also brings a global perspective to her teaching and is fluent in Hebrew. Email: [email protected]
Melinda Davis-Perritano – Board Member at Large
Ms. Davis-Perritano is retired from active duty as an Air Force Officer-Judge Advocate. Following retirement, she has served as a federal service civilian employee in various positions including as the Convening Authority and Director of the Office of Military Commissions; Deputy General Counsel of Defense Logistics Agency; Chief Counsel of the Legislative Affairs and Information Law Division, Department of Veterans Affairs; and, as a Claims and Legal Assistance Attorney for the U.S. Army. Ms. Davis-Perritano graduated from McMurry Methodist University, St. Mary’s University School of Law, and Air War College with academic distinction.
