Good afternoon.
On behalf of the Eleanor Kolitz Hebrew Language Academy, I would like to thank you for your continued support and participation. We greatly appreciate your strong commitment to our school, students, and teachers.
As a sponsor or ticket holder of our 4th annual EKHLA Excellence Luncheon, I am reaching out to you to let you know that EKHLA was forced to reschedule the event this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The health and safety of you and your guests is paramount, and we hoped that the postponement meant we could host this amazing event at a later date in the Fall of 2020.
With the number of infections trending in the wrong direction, we simply do not feel it would be responsible to host the luncheon early in the school year. Potential dates later in the year would also come with a range of obstacles.
Therefore, after much deliberation, we have decided to host a Virtual EKHLA Excellence Event in honor of Reuben Bar Yadin. All ticket holders, sponsors, and their guests will have online access to the event through a private link. Due to school holidays and unique summer schedules, we realize that people may have a tough time specifying their availability and we don't want you to miss the event - therefore, the link will be available for 48 hours and you can watch the entire event at your leisure. So, please save the date for July 29-30. Specific time and login instructions will be sent closer to the date.
Be assured that the funds you invested in your ticket, sponsorship, or table purchase are being put to great use to improve the educational environment at EKHLA. We are so incredibly grateful for your support and understanding. Our hope, of course, is that one day soon, we will be able to safely gather our EKHLA friends and families together for events and celebrations!

EVENT MISSION
"The EKHLA Excellence Luncheon will gather parents, grandparents, alumni, and friends to celebrate the successes and future of EKHLA. Each year we will have honorees who exemplify the school's most cherished values. Seated lunch, performances by students, and presentations by our school leaders make for a meaningful and successful annual fundraiser. Proceeds from the event are used for specific items needed for the school."
